Our mission at Marston’s is to have “Pubs to Be Proud Of” and we’re 100% committed to achieving this.
2021 saw a change of CEO, following the partial sale of our Brewery in 2020. By selling a stake in the brewery business, a new joint venture was created, Carlsberg Marston’s. So, we’ve been through period of huge change and we’re now in a position to grow and transform the business, with the best possible people we’re able to attract to join us on this very exciting journey.
Our commitment to our colleagues is underpinned by a very clear set of values and behaviours and we put these at the heart of everything we do. These makes it the very special place that Marston’s is known to be.
We are Guest Obsessed- we put our guests first always, aiming to delight them when they’re in our pubs
We Raise the Bar- we’re committed to each other, the business and to being the best version of ourselves
We will Grow- we challenge ourselves and each other, to ensure we’re always being the best we can possibly be.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about people development, personally driven and someone who strives for greatness. In this entry level training role, you will be involved in a wide variety of activities including delivery of training sessions for our new opening pub teams that range from on-site training, classroom-based delivery and one to one development sessions.
You should enjoy a guest-based role and thrive on building relationships within teams, be a confident public speaker and a natural coach. Supporting our ambitious CapEx investment programme this role will give the candidate the opportunity for a truly field based role, supporting a variety of sites up and down the country.
The nature of the openings role means there will be an expectation to travel and stay away from home from time to time, to ensure our teams are fully prepared for a successful opening. So a driving licence and a wheely suitcase are both essential!
Is this the job for you and will you enjoy life at Marston’s?
