We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about people development, personally driven and someone who strives for greatness. In this entry level training role, you will be involved in a wide variety of activities including delivery of training sessions for our new opening pub teams that range from on-site training, classroom-based delivery and one to one development sessions.

You should enjoy a guest-based role and thrive on building relationships within teams, be a confident public speaker and a natural coach. Supporting our ambitious CapEx investment programme this role will give the candidate the opportunity for a truly field based role, supporting a variety of sites up and down the country.

The nature of the openings role means there will be an expectation to travel and stay away from home from time to time, to ensure our teams are fully prepared for a successful opening. So a driving licence and a wheely suitcase are both essential!

  • Delivery of pre-opening training sessions to a consistently high standard and provide support post opening to our pub teams
  • Happy to work in a team or on your own from one opening to the next
  • Passionate about the Hospitality industry with a strong interest in creating pubs to be proud of through driving standards or service
  • Natural talent for coaching & developing teams to help raise the standards we deliver to our guests by training our teams to be the best in the business
  • Experience of working within hospitality preferred (Kitchen or Front of House)
  • Ability and confidence to call things that are not up to the standard we expect from our teams
  • Understanding and/or the ability to use and learn new app-based systems
  • Confident communicator to be able to liaise with multiple departments within the business
  • Delivery of feedback on effectiveness of sessions
  • Influencing and challenging stakeholders inside and outside of the training team
  • 1 on 1 training and mentoring with senior team members in pub on their leadership skills
  • Quick thinker and problem solver to deal with issues as and when they happen during pre & post opening
  • Able to travel nationwide and have access to your own vehicle
