The pub dates back to the 1600s when it was the centre of village life for a thriving community and surrounded by lush farmland and still today has a good community spirit! The pub incorporates the values of traditional pub hospitality, but with a traditional feel with exposed beams and low ceilings. Pub Layout The main bar and servery is accessed via the front door of the pub, you are welcomed by a servery containing both fixed and lose seating and a corner bar with a range of standard and premium drinks. To the right of the bar there is a raised area, currently used as a lounge/games room and sometimes to host bands and DJ's. Behind the bar area, you will access a catering kitchen, providing the opportunity to offer food and dining. Externally there is a small beer garden and car park.
