If you have previous hospitality management experience and are looking to run your own pub business, the Savoy Country Hotel near St Clears is available now on Marston’s new Community Food Partnership agreement.
Offering 7 letting bedrooms, the Savoy Country Inn is nestled in a peaceful, picturesque setting that overlooks the Welsh countryside .On the main route to Pembroke Dock and the ferry port, this inn is in a great spot to catch tourists looking for a stopover when exploring West Wales, offering easy access by road to Tenby, Fishguard and Milford Haven; and close to popular attractions including Folly Farm and Heatherton Theme Park. Rich in original character and known as the 'pink pub' due to its colourful exterior, the inn has low ceilings and benefits from a bar and pool room for drinkers, with a separate restaurant and breakfast area and coffee bar for inn guests and diners. The Savoy operates our branded menu, developed by our expert food and marketing teams, with 106 covers available inside, with a further 200 covers available thanks to a large beer garden which also includes a fenced children's play area.
The Savoy trades at around £16k during summer weeks when the tourist trade is at it's peak, 20% of this coming from the letting rooms and a further 70% from food sales. During the winter season, the pub usually trades at £8k a week with a large proportion of sales coming from workers. This pub is a sleeping giant and we're looking for publican/s to drive standards and guest experience in order to reach its full potential. Experience of managing a seasonal and multi-faceted business would be an advantage.
